Description
A fun twist on classic pizza, this Jalapeño Popper Pizza combines the creamy goodness of jalapeño poppers with the comfort of pizza, perfect for casual dinners or game nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ball of pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 fresh jalapeños (sliced and seeds removed)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese (about 4 slices)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F. Lightly coat a pizza pan or baking sheet with olive oil.
- Shape the pizza dough into a circle about 10 inches in diameter and place it on the pan lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving about a 3/4 to 1-inch border.
- Add mozzarella cheese slices on top, then sprinkle the shredded Monterey Jack cheese over them. Top with the sliced jalapeños.
- Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Add chives or any toppings of your choice once it’s out of the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!
Notes
For an extra kick, add more jalapeños or keep the seeds. Try using a store-bought pizza crust for a quicker option.
