A quick and savory beef and broccoli dish made in the Instant Pot, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients

- 1 pound Beef sirloin (Thinly sliced)
- 4 cups Fresh broccoli florets (Add towards the end)
- 3 cloves Garlic (Minced finely)
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce (Low-sodium preferred)
- 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch (Mix with water to create slurry)
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (Toast slightly)
- 2 tablespoons Green onions (Chopped)
Instructions
- Turn on the Instant Pot and select the ‘Sauté’ function. Add a bit of oil and let it heat up.
- Once hot, add the thinly sliced beef. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth. Stir well to combine.
- Close the Instant Pot lid and set it to cook under high pressure for 10 minutes.
- After cooking, carefully release the pressure. Open the lid and stir in the fresh broccoli florets.
- Mix the cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry. Add this to the pot and let it cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Finally, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top before serving.
Notes
Use low-sodium soy sauce to keep the dish healthier. Adjust brown sugar for desired sweetness. Add other vegetables for extra nutrition.
