Description

The most easy and extraordinary Strawberry Crackle Salad made by preheating oven to 400°F mixing 2 cups crushed pretzels 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup melted butter spreading on parchment-lined sheet baking 8 to 10 minutes until bubbling golden cooling completely and breaking into pieces then beating two 8 oz packages room temperature cream cheese with 3/4 cup granulated sugar and 2 tsp vanilla until smooth gently folding in 16 oz thawed Cool Whip refrigerating until serving then immediately before serving folding in 4 cups sliced strawberries and half the pretzel crunch topping with remaining crunch. A completely perfect summer strawberry crackle salad recipe.

2 cups Crushed Pretzels

1 cup Chopped Pecans

1 cup Light Brown Sugar

1 cup Unsalted Butter melted

2 packages 8 oz each Cream Cheese softened to room temperature

3/4 cup Granulated Sugar

2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

16 oz Cool Whip thawed

4 cups Fresh Strawberries sliced


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with parchment.

2. Combine pretzels, pecans, and brown sugar. Stir in melted butter until coated.

3. Spread on sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until bubbling and golden. Cool completely.

4. Break cooled crunch into irregular small pieces.

5. Beat room temperature cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until completely smooth.

6. Gently fold in thawed Cool Whip preserving air. Cover and refrigerate.

7. Immediately before serving fold in sliced strawberries and half the pretzel crunch.

8. Transfer to serving bowl. Top with remaining pretzel crunch. Serve immediately.
