  • 1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 oz pink candy melts (or white chocolate with red food coloring)
  • Sprinkles, for decorating
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Bake the strawberry cake mix according to package directions in a 9×13 inch pan. Let cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cake into a large bowl.
  3. Add strawberry jam and powdered sugar to the crumbled cake. Mix until a dough-like consistency forms.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the pink candy melts according to package directions.
  7. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it halfway into a cake pop.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy. Tap off excess.
  9. Decorate with sprinkles immediately.
  10. Place on parchment paper or a cake pop stand to set completely.
