- Wax paper or parchment paper
Instructions
- 1. Soften the ice cream: Let the mint ice cream sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.
- 2. Color (optional): Add a few drops of green food coloring to the softened ice cream and mix well.
- 3. Prepare cookie sheet: Line with wax paper or parchment paper.
- 4. Cut out shamrocks: Spread the softened ice cream onto the prepared sheet, about ½ inch thick. Use the cookie cutter to cut out shamrocks.
- 5. Freeze: Place the cookie sheet in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
- 6. Decorate: Remove from the freezer and decorate with sprinkles. Work quickly!
- 7. Serve and enjoy: Serve immediately, or store in the freezer.
