Description

A delicious twist on classic cheesecake combining rich cream cheese with German chocolate flavors, coconut, and pecans.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup German chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, ⅓ cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup sugar and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  4. Stir in melted German chocolate.
  5. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Then sprinkle coconut and pecans on top. Finally, pour the remaining cream cheese mixture over.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until set.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove the sides of the pan and chill in the refrigerator.
  8. For serving, whip cream and top the cheesecake for decoration.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Avoid overbaking; the center should be slightly jiggly when done.
