- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Green food coloring
- White frosting tube or melted white chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and whisk in the sugar until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before frosting.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Add green food coloring to the frosting and mix until you achieve your desired shade of green.
- Spread the green frosting evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Use a white frosting tube or melted white chocolate to draw football field lines on top of the green frosting.
