Description
A fun and easy recipe for Fruity Pebbles Sushi Treats. Perfect for parties and kids!
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 ounces marshmallows (about 40 large)
- 6 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
- 1/2 cup gummy worms, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
- Fruit leather sheets (various colors) cut into strips
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Once melted, add the marshmallows and stir constantly until completely melted. Remove from heat.
- Gently fold in the Fruity Pebbles cereal until evenly coated. Be careful not to crush the cereal.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, pressing down lightly to create a uniform layer.
- Let the cereal mixture cool slightly, about 10-15 minutes, until it’s firm enough to handle but still pliable.
- Cut the cereal mixture into rectangles, about 2 inches wide and 3 inches long.
- Sprinkle gummy worm pieces, chocolate chips, and coconut (if using) onto each rectangle.
- Carefully roll each rectangle into a log, pressing gently to seal the edges.
- Wrap each “sushi roll” with a strip of fruit leather to resemble seaweed.
- Slice each roll into bite-sized pieces, resembling sushi rolls.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
