Description

The most fun and creamy Easter Dirt Cake Casserole made with a crushed Oreo cookie crust topped with a silky cream cheese vanilla pudding and whipped topping filling decorated with Oreo crumbs mini Oreos and pastel candy coated chocolates. A completely no-bake Easter dessert ready in 20 minutes plus chilling.


Ingredients

14 oz Package Oreo Cookies crushed with 1/2 cup reserved for topping

8 oz Cream Cheese softened to room temperature

1/4 cup Unsalted Butter softened to room temperature

1 cup Powdered Sugar

1 package 3.4 oz Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix

2 cups Cold Milk

8 oz Whipped Topping such as Cool Whip thawed

1 cup Pastel Candy Coated Chocolates such as Easter M&Ms

1/2 cup Mini Oreo Cookies for topping


Instructions

1. Crush all Oreo cookies to fine uniform crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping.

2. Press remaining crumbs firmly into a 9×13 inch dish using a flat-bottomed measuring cup.

3. Beat softened cream cheese, softened butter, and powdered sugar until completely smooth and fluffy.

4. Fold thawed whipped topping into cream cheese mixture gently until light and airy.

5. Whisk pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Rest 5 minutes.

6. Fold thickened pudding into cream cheese mixture until fully combined and smooth.

7. Spread filling evenly over Oreo crust reaching all edges.

8. Sprinkle reserved Oreo crumbs across the surface.

9. Scatter mini Oreos and pastel candy coated chocolates generously over the top.

10. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours and ideally overnight.

11. Slice cold and serve directly from the refrigerator.

Notes

Cream cheese and butter must be at full room temperature before beating for a lump-free filling.

Press Oreo crust firmly with a flat-bottomed measuring cup for clean slices.

Always use instant pudding not cook-and-serve pudding in this recipe.

Thaw whipped topping fully in the refrigerator before using.

Store covered in the refrigerator up to 3 days. Do not freeze.
