Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Avoid over-mixing.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting them into squares.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Sprinkle with powdered sugar for an extra touch.
