Description

A fun and sweet treat combining crisp apples with gooey caramel and tasty toppings, perfect for sharing at parties or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 count apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce (warmed)
  • 0.25 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
  • 0.25 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup chopped peanuts (or pecans)
  • 0.25 cup crushed pretzels
  • 0.25 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples, cut them into thin slices, and remove the core.
  2. Mix the lemon juice and water in a bowl. Toss the apple slices in this mixture to prevent browning.
  3. Arrange the apple slices on a large plate or platter.
  4. Drizzle the warmed caramel sauce over the sliced apples.
  5. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and drizzle over the apples.
  6. Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts (or pecans), and crushed pretzels over the top.
  7. Finish with a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within a day.
