Cinnamon Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips: The EASIEST Recipe!

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

Crispy, sweet, and with just a hint of cinnamon spice, these Cinnamon Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are a healthier way to enjoy a beloved treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil spray

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into thin, even rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Stir until well blended.
  3. Gently toss the banana slices in the cinnamon sugar mixture, ensuring each slice is evenly coated.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with coconut oil. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd them. You may need to cook in batches.
  5. Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the banana chips from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack. Letting them cool completely will allow the chips to crisp up further.
