- 0.5 cups Granulated sugar
- 0.5 cups Brown sugar (packed)
- 1 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, mix the sifted flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool on racks before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container or freeze them for later enjoyment. You can also experiment with different types of chocolate chips or add nuts for extra flavor.
