- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup dried cherries, chopped
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped dried cherries and chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
