Ingredients

1 pound smoked Cajun sausage, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and drain

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat

3. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned

4. Stir in onion, garlic, and bell peppers and sauté until tender

5. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper over the sausage and vegetables

6. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine

7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce

8. Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the pasta and mix gently

9. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor
