Delicious turkey legs coated in a sweet and smoky maple glaze, perfect for festive dinners.

- 4 Turkey legs
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 cup Pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 2 sprigs Fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
- 0.5 cup Cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rub the turkey legs with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well coated.
- In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and lemon zest.
- Place the turkey legs in a baking dish and pour the maple glaze over them, making sure they’re well covered.
- Add fresh rosemary and cranberries around the legs in the dish.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- After an hour, remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until golden brown and safe internal temperature is reached.
- Baste the legs with pan juices a couple of times during the last 30 minutes.
- Let the turkey legs rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, broil the legs for a few minutes after baking. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
