- 1 pound store-bought pizza dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
- 1 ½ cups cooked and shredded Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork
- ¾ cup BBQ sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- ⅓ cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Place a pizza stone in the oven if you have one.
- Lightly flour a clean work surface and roll or stretch the pizza dough to your desired size and shape.
- Brush a pizza pan or baking sheet with olive oil. Transfer the dough to the prepared pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cooked pulled pork with ¾ cup of BBQ sauce.
- Spread the BBQ pulled pork mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pulled pork.
- Arrange the sliced red onion over the cheese.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
- Drizzle with extra BBQ sauce, if desired, and garnish with fresh cilantro, if using.
- Slice, serve and enjoy!
