The most simple 4 Ingredient Protein Cookies made with only peanut butter brown sugar substitute egg and vanilla protein powder by combining 1 cup natural peanut butter 2/3 cup brown sugar substitute 1 large egg and 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder in a bowl mixing until completely smooth optionally folding in 1/4 cup chocolate chips rolling into 12 balls placing on parchment-lined sheet pressing each flat to 1/2 inch thickness and baking at 350°F for 12 to 14 minutes until edges golden cooling completely on sheet before serving. 20 grams protein per cookie. A completely perfect 4-ingredient flour-free protein cookie recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup Natural Peanut Butter without added sugar or hydrogenated oils
2/3 cup Brown Sugar Substitute coconut sugar or low-calorie sweetener
1 large Egg or 1/4 cup applesauce for egg-free
1/2 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
1/4 cup Chocolate Chips optional
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F 180°C. Line baking sheet with parchment.
2. Combine peanut butter, brown sugar substitute, egg, and protein powder in large bowl.
3. Mix until completely smooth and uniformly thick dough.
4. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
5. Shape into 12 equally sized balls with clean hands.
6. Place on prepared sheet with space between.
7. Press each ball flat to approximately 1/2 inch thickness.
8. Bake 12 to 14 minutes until edges golden. Centers will look slightly soft.
9. Cool completely on sheet before transferring. Do not eat while very warm for best texture assessment.
